Dean Saul has been in the tax field since July 1969: as H&R Block Assistant City Manager in Knoxville, TN for a year and City Manager in Rochester, NY for three (3) years. He passed the Special Enrollment Exam at his first sitting in 1972. He became an Enrolled agent to assist taxpayers in resolving IRS controversies. He spent 2 years as a Tax Accountant with EDS in Dallas and 7 years as Tax Manager @ Ennis Business Forms, prior to expanding his private tax practice to full time in 1981 in Lewisville, TX. Dean has continues to complete 60 to 90 hours of Continuing Education (CE) every year (since 1989) and is a Fellow of the National Tax Practice Institute (NTPI) since 1993. For 21 years he assisted in teaching the EA Special Enrollment Exam (SEE) Preparation Course. He is a nationally recognized tax speaker and for the past 33 years has been presenting to various civic, charitable, and professional groups. His practice consists of tax controversy representation, tax planning, and tax compliance for Individuals, Corporations, Fiduciaries, Estates, Non-Profits, and Partnerships. In addition to his practice, Mr. Saul has served as 1st Vice-President and as a Board member at Large for the Plano Area Enrolled Agents Chapter of the Texas Society of Enrolled Agents for over a decade, and continues to serve as Education Committee Chair.
His other interests include sailing, sports car and Formula 1 racing, music, theater, and staying healthy and fit.
